Call me paranoid, but wasn't it strange that on the day that the government was going to get lots of bad publicity from a demonstration about how they are abusing their powers in the name of preventing terrorism, that they upgraded Britain's terrorist security threat level for no apparent reason? The papers were then full of what could the threat possibly be and why they weren't saying anything, rather than why jobsworth coppers are stopping, searching, and sometimes arresting photographers who want to take an innocent picture of London landmarks.
